Ducati 1199 Panigale Superleggera: 200 hp and 155 kg, SBK with enrollment

Ducati already has his list 1199 Panigale Superleggera, a beast with 200 hp and only 155 kilos. A bike with the latest technology of the brand in competition but with tuition, headlight and intermittent… €70,000.

This new display technology Ducati has a power of 200 hp at 11,500 rpm and a torque of 13.66 kgm at 10,200 rpm. The advertised weight is only 155 kilos achieved using the lightest and most expensive materials that exist: titanium, carbon, magnesium and tungsten. Its weight/power ratio is 0.775 kg/hp, more than a formula 1.

The chassis could be used well in World SBK. Assembles a upside-down Ohlins FL916 fork and a buffer of the same make, model TTX36 with titanium spring. The brakes as it could not be otherwise are Brembo, the front calipers are radial M50, monobloc and four-piston each.

The Superleggera equipped with a host of electronic controls such as traction control (DTC), DWC, Engine Brake Control (EBC) and telemetry and data acquisition (DDA+), among many other things.

The monocoque chassis, which also serves airbox, is magnesium that is joined to a loop of carbon. The fairing is entirely carbon. For the enthusiast, and with money, logically, Ducati release a Corse kit to increase 5 hp power and reduce weight about 2.5 kilos thanks to a full line of Akrapovic exhaust.
