EICMA 2012: New Aprilia Caponord

Veteran trail Aprilia has been completely updated, benefiting from the electronic technology of the mark applied to their latest models.

Aprilia Caponord

Just seeing the model was unveiled at the 2012 Milan (EICMA) one can see that the front has a large influence sportier model brand Noale, the RSV4.

While its new tubular steel chassis combined with aluminum side reinforcements is inherited from the Dorsoduro 1200, like its twin cylinder 1200cc engine that provides 128 hp at 8,500 rpm, and the rear shock to the swingarm anchored laterally.

Aprilia could not miss the opportunity to upgrade to the Caponord with sophisticated electronic technology available to it, so it has different levels of power output (sport, tourin and rain) and traction control (with three levels and breakaway), cruise control, ABS detachable, the ADD dynamic suspension system (Aprilia Dynamic Damping), or electronically adjustable rear suspension on four morons. Complete instrumentation is also new.

What is your side is keep tourer, center stand, large panniers that can be removed and replaced quickly, large fuel tank, windscreen, comfortable seating, passenger handles… so the Caponord is now more than ever very valid option for lovers of long bike routes.
