MV Agusta F3 800: More than a supersport

MV Agusta continues its intense activity in terms of new releases. Now it’s the turn of the F3 800. From the brand claim that is halfway between a superbike and supersport and combining the reactions of a V-Twin engine with a four-cylinder.

And no wonder since equips a three-cylinder engine, which has been based on riding the Brutale 800, with an output of 148 hp at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm torque at 10,600 rpm. The weight (172 kg) is practically traced to the F3 675, so the power/weight ratio certainly approaching that of a superbike.

The injectors are new, the engine uses a reverse rotation (as the 675) crankshaft and a clutch anti-Ricochet covering. All electronic controls in support of the conduction as adjustable traction control have eight positions and three modes of operation.

As regards the part cycle highlights a Marzocchi inverted fork with 43 mm fully adjustable, as is the Sachs rear shock. The front calipers are Brembo monobloc and are an update of riding the 657 F3. Of series it will mount the tires Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa.

It will be offered in three color combinations: pearl white and black, red and silver and matte black with metallic black. The price have set in Italy is 13,990 euros.
