Touring and SuperSport, new models of the Vespa GTS

Vespa lovers have reason to be pleased. The Piaggio Group has launched two new special versions of their popular GTS Touring, equipped for long journeys and SuperSport, the more aggressive Sports range.

Piaggio Group has developed two new versions of its GTS classic. With ABS braking system and ASR electronic traction control series, Vespa GTS Touring and Vespa GTS SuperSport hit the market to offer technological advances with which the Piaggio Group surprised the world scooter.

Both versions equipped with one 300 cc engine, single-cylinder, four-stroke, capable of delivering a maximum power of 22 hp at 7,500 rpm. The model SuperSport also has available a 125 cc engine with electronic injection.

Both the Touring model as SuperSport have a large compartment under the seat, with comfortable seating and art instrumentation with blue backlight for GTS Touring and red for the GTS SuperSport. In regard to the equipment of series highlights the USB port and the front indicators with LED.

Technological advances
The Piaggio Group is the first manufacturer to introduce the ASR electronic traction control for scooter, available only on high-end bikes. New models of GTS include the new front suspension ESS, which improves comfort by providing a soft, relaxed and safe driving.

In addition, the new Vespa GTS range has Vespa Multimedia Platform system that allows smartphones to connect with on-board electronic system. These make it possible, for example, the display of maps and routes, as well as identify gas stations.

Vespa GTS SuperSport
The SuperSport model is based on GTS Super, but with a sports style. This new version embodies the typical concepts of Scooters: comfort, technology and safety, with clear allusions to legendary models of the brand. The black paint, trim with orange stitching and side stripes provide the distinctive touch and aggressive design of this model.

Vespa GTS Touring
This version of the GTS is the more touring bike range. It is suitable for both city and road commuting. Its elegance, high load capacity and brown “Sienna” distinguish this scooter.
