Alpinestars Viper Air Jacket
This jacket, ideal for urban use and weekend outings, incorporates a new ventilation system that will allow us to use in warmer weather, while it’s multiple detachable increase our security protections.
Belonging to the recently introduced Alpinestars 2013 spring collection, the Viper Air is a textile jacket, made in a durable outer layer of poly-600D fabric, very resistant to abrasion and scratches.
One of its main features is its internal structure with panels on front and back double mesh that allow optimum air flow, combined with the air intakes in the lower arms with perforated shield that make the Viper Air a jacket to consider for hot days still lay ahead.
On the inside we found a handy removable liner windproof and waterproof jacket that allows us safeguard the typical summer downpour, but it is not a waterproof jacket as would be the touring range.
Protection and comfort
In the shoulders and elbows are removable Bio-Armor shields with CE certification, and also has padded compartments on chest and back protector available as accessory.
Another element that ensures our security is reflective details on the front and back that enhance the pilot’s display in low light.
To provide maximum comfort sleeves have a pre-curved design that increases comfort in the riding position. The adjustments are velcro sleeves and eye V-ring zipper with connection in order to be able to combine it with any pants of the Alpinestars range.
The skirt of the jacket is longer, which is great when paired with jeans or similar pants because this does not let the lumbar discovered.
Special attention has been taken in the neck, made of padded 3D mesh for breathability and comfort and neoprene edges, like cuffs. It has two external pockets and two internal waterproof zippers with Velcro closure on the lining.
